Allison was born and raised in the Junction City area and moved to Manhattan in the fall of 2019. Her mother still lives in Junction City, and they enjoy getting to spend time together. She also enjoys cooking, baking, gardening and all things KSU sports related. Allison's son is a junior at Kansas State University in the Dietetics program and she is enormously proud of him as he works towards his goal of becoming a Registered Dietician for a collegiate or professional sports program. Her significant other David is a structural engineer.
Professionally, Allison comes from a background that includes education administration, insurance and baking. And while there has been lots of variation in her past work experience, each of those stops has given her invaluable information and experiences that she brings forward to her position with the Foundation.
No job though gave Allison more of an incentive to apply for this position than my time as a 4-H’er with the Blueline 4-H Club in Geary County. All these years later, she can still think back on lessons and experiences that shaped her into the person that she is today. It is these memories that make Allison so passionately want to give back to this organization.
